Trip to the seal beds
A very popular daily program is the trip to the seal beds, starting several times a day from List and Hörnum. You travel on smaller passenger ships or historic cutters and can observe seals in the wild. Please don't forget your camera!
Skydiving
Drop into a tandem jump and feel the adrenaline rush. Enjoy the free fall and a sensational view, exciting yet safe with experienced professional jumpers. Only from April to October, daily 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (weather permitting).
Sylt Aquarium
This visit is not only worth it on rainy days, where you can marvel not only at the underwater world of the North Sea, but also that of the tropics. The highlight: A glass tunnel right through the middle of the large aquarium tank - not even a diver can get any closer to the fish.
Ride a bike
Cycling on Sylt offers a great opportunity to discover the beauty of the island. With well-developed cycle paths along the coast and through picturesque dune landscapes, cyclists can enjoy the fresh sea air and at the same time explore Sylt's unique nature.
Kitesurfing
Kitesurfing is an outdoor sport where you get quite wet and need good wetsuits. Of course, this is not absolutely necessary when watching, which is also a lot of fun, but “wind and weatherproof” clothing is always good advice on Sylt.
